Where Healing Begins

About The Therapist

I have been practicing massage since 2011.  I was an instructor at the Omaha School of Massage & Healthcare of Herzing University until relocating to New England in 2017.  I am licensed in Nebraska, Iowa, and Massachusetts, and am Board Certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork.  I hold a membership with the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals because of their devotion to education and sharing knowledge.

I began my career in massage therapy because helping people to feel better gives me purpose.  I hold a strong faith in the body’s ability to heal itself.  As a massage therapist, I am able to help a body to release tension areas, and return to its normal working condition.

Among the many benefits to receiving regular massage therapy, these are two that I find most noteworthy.  An advantage for everyone is its ability to enhance your body’s immune functions.   For many, the key benefit comes with massage’s ability to reduce pain from several chronic conditions.  You can find some of the other benefits from a list of resources on the Benefits of Massage page.

There are many different techniques and types of massage therapy.  Each of these have specific indicators for their use, and many work best in tandem.  I have taken advanced training in:

• Deep Tissue
• Reflexology
• Swedish
• Oncology
• Sports
• Resistance Release
• Neuromuscular
• and more
